We respect the role that parents play as the principal carer in their children's lives and we want to develop a close working relationship with you so that we are consistently meeting your family's needs.

Two-way communication is crucial so The Lawns Children’s Nursery will make time to talk at the beginning and end of each session and you will receive regular information about your child's learning progress via eyLog.

At the Lawns Children's Nursery we use eyLog to record the development of your child and inform next steps of learning for practitioners within each of the nursery rooms to take video, audio and stills alongside written observations. As a parent / carer you will have your own login, to access and contribute to eyLog at times that suit your family needs.  

The below linked calendars show all the term dates for Somerset including the school holidays and bank holidays. The nursery closes the period between Christmas and the New Year.

Our policy is to include all children whose parents request a place, wherever possible.
